Mom - Less on Mother's Day?

Mother's Day brings mixed feelings for many of us whose mothers have passed on. It can remind us of what we had and now is gone, or perhaps what we never had and never will.

But one thing is certain...

We may have sad thoughts but we can give them to the Lord and ask for His peace to guard our hearts and minds.

If there are tears, let them come. Crying may last for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

Our mothers made great sacrifices for us and for that we can be forever grateful. We are here because they chose life, our life.

We may not have a hand to hold, a shoulder to hug, but we have a thousand little seeds planted in our lives by moms who did the best they could with what they had to give--whether that was a lot or a little.

Thank you, Mom. You taught me to persevere. No matter how strong the wind or how high the waves, you showed me how to stay the course. Give Jesus a hug for me!
